Hello, friend...
My name is Lana and I'm passionate about the natural world - supporting, observing, photographing, learning about it - and sharing what I see and learn with others.
I'm not formally trained in any kind of nature studies; I took an introductory horticulture class in college, which awoke the inner gardener in me. As an adult I continued learning, starting to focus on native plants at the beginning of 2019 when I planned then planted (with my husband) my first dedicated native garden, and the learning continues!

I've also become passionate about critters and have been photographing and trying to learn about who visits our property. Photography has been an interest since a young age, then I took classes in high school and college, so that makes a good combo for sharing the visual beauty and interest of the garden with others who are also learning. =)
